What’s Taking So Long?

You know …
- that improved body condition
- the better job
- the sale of a property
- an improved relationship
It’s all because of your expectations. You see in our daily life experience, we rely on a certain degree of stability. That is, we expect for Tuesday to follow Monday, for the evening to follow the day time and a predictable, sequential unfolding in many areas of our day to day experience. That give us a stable platform from which to unfold our lives.
Interestingly, when it comes to time break out of our routine day to day ways of being, it can take a bit of stretching. It feels really good to know there’s stability to life and that random, peculiar events don’t just pop into our experience. So becoming a deliberate creator and creating something that at first feels like a stretch requires courage and patience.
It requires courage because you find yourself wanting something that isn’t here yet and you haven’t figured out how to get it. And it takes patience because at first it’s not yours and now you have some alignment work to do. That will take a bit of time. The amount of time it will take is directly related to how much resistance you have about receiving it.
Here’s the bugaboo. You want something, for example, the sale of your property, and your brain starts sifting and sorting for matching patterns and information about selling a house. You factor in all kind of information, the present economy, how fast houses are selling, the rates of mortgages, etc., etc. And in some cases, this information can hinder the fast sale of a property. It sets you up for certain expectations about the likelihood of you selling your property in a timely manner. The thing is that no matter what is happening in the economy or the mortgage market, the Law of Attraction teaches that if you can imagine it, you can manifest it. Your job is to get the static off the wire, soften the resistance to getting your house sold.
Easier said than done? Well, it does take practice. Tell an improved version of what is happening in the house selling market instead of what’s appearing in the community around you. You could tell a tale of woe and fret and suffer and stress about it. Or, you could tell it as you want it to be. Dont’ tell it like it is, unless what you see is pleasing to you. Does that mean you’re sticking your head in the sand? Well, yes! But you won’t keep re-creating what you’re seeing if that’s not what you want to manifest.
Tell a New Story
It takes intestinal fortitude – courage – to tell a new story. You don’t have to broadcast this improved story to people who aren’t supportive. Keep it to yourself and to your like-minded friends. You’ll improve your point of attraction and see movement and sell your house in record time. That’s how it happened for me.
Once More, This Time With Feeling
Singing coaches often tell their clients, okay do it again, only this time “with feeling.”
That’s the way you’re going to go about selling your house, or getting that great job, or improving your body or relationship. Tell that story again, only this time with feeling. Tell it to yourself. Pause and muse over what it feels like to in the midst of enjoying the experience. Feel the gratitude, the freedom, the expansion and joy you’ll feel when ‘IT’ becomes your waking reality. You’ll be experiencing it in reality soon.
Being a deliberate creator takes practice. Practice begets mastery. Become the master of your life.
